Lakeview (Parker Canyon Lake) Overview

Lakeview Campground has 65 spacious campsites set among a stand of oaks and junipers on a hill overlooking Parker Canyon Lake in the Coronado National Forest. The lower loop is for tent camping and most have a short walk from the parking area to the campsite. Most sites in the lower loop have lake views. The upper loop is for trailers and RVs. There are several pull through sites.

The campground is open year round and all campsites are first-come, first-serve. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is not available. The marina is less than a mile and has a store, boat ramp and paddle boat rentals. There is also a day use / picnic area next to the marina.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 36 feet).  Some sites require a short walk from the parking area to the camping area. Camp roads and parking spurs are paved. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Hookups are not available.

Rock Bluff Group Site offers group camping an is about 1/2 mile from Lakeview Campground.

Lakeview – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating (10 mph limit), fishing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, mountain biking, stargazing and wildlife viewing. A boat launch and watercraft rentals are also available at the marina.
