Twin Peaks Overview

Twin Peaks campground has 212 campsites and is located in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in the Sonoran Desert.  Group and equestrian campsites are also available. The group sites can accommodate 18 to 45 people (depending on the site).

There are 174 sites for RVs and 34 sites for tents (sites 175 to 207). The RV sites have paved parking spurs ranging in length from 25 to 40 feet. Each site also has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grate. Hookups are not available.

The campground is seasonal open year round. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilets, a few (solar) showers, trash collection (dumpsters) and an RV dump station. There’s also a visitor center, picnic / day use area, amphitheater and interpretive programs.  Cell service is good.

Alamo Canyon Campground (in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument) has 4 primitive (tent-only) campsites.

Twin Peaks Camnpground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation activities include hiking, biking, birding, picnicking, stargazing, photography and wildlife viewing.
