Apple Tree Overview

Apple Tree Campground is a small first-come, first-serve tent-only campground with 8 campsites located at 6,200 feet in the Angeles National Forest just off Big Pines Highway. Parking is in a parking lot along Big Pine Highway (not in the individual campsites). The has a vault toilet and drinking water. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.
Apple Tree CampgroundĀ is close to small (3-acre) Jackson Lake and is also close to many popular hiking trails in the San Gabriel Mountains. The small mountain community of Wrightwood is also about 5 miles away.
Table Mountain, Peavine and Mountain Oak are other campgrounds in the area.
