Cell service is not available.

Arroyo Seco – Area Recreation

The area offers a variety of outdoor activities including swimming and tubing in the river, hiking, mountain biking, ATVing, picnicking, hunting and horseback riding. You can also fish, kayak and canoe in the small (seasonal) lake near the campground. Rock Creek has a few nice swimming holes and also opportunities to float in a tube when the water is high enough. Is this campsite permanently closed? We love it there.

    • Hi Karen,
Arroyo Seco Campground remains closed because roads in the area are still damaged/closed from last year’s storms. The forest service does not provide any date on when the roads/campground may be open again. As a result the campground is ‘closed until further notice’.
