Baker Creek Overview
Baker Creek campground has 62 single-family campsites scattered along the banks of the creek, ponds and among the trees. Most campsites are reservable, but there are some walk-in (no reservations) available. The non-reservable (walk-in) sites are 4, 12, 19, 20, 22, 28, 29, 30, 35, 39, 40 and 43.
Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (some sites up to 50 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.
Baker Creek – Area Recreation
Fishing is popular in the streams and ponds at the campground. Other activities include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Groceries, supplies, firewood, restaurants and petrol are also available in the nearby town of Big Pine.
Other campgrounds in the area include Sage Flat, Upper Sage Flat and Big Pine Creek.
