Baker Creek Overview
Baker Creek campground has 62 single-family campsites scattered along the banks of the creek and ponds in the Eastern Sierra. Most campsites are reservable, but there are some first-come, first-served. The first-come, first-served sites are 4, 12, 19, 20, 22, 28, 29, 30, 35, 39, 40 and 43.
Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (some sites up to 50 feet). Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grate.
Baker Creek Campground – Area Recreation
Fishing is popular in the streams and ponds at the campground. Other activities include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Groceries, supplies, firewood, restaurants and petrol are also available in the nearby town of Big Pine.
Other campgrounds in the area include Sage Flat, Upper Sage Flat and Big Pine Creek.
