Big Springs Campground California
Big Springs Overview

Big Springs campground has 26 campsites and is located along the Owens River Road in the eastern-Sierra north of Mammoth Lakes. The campground is popular and is first-come first-served.
The campground does not have potable/drinking water (so bring your own), but it does have delightful vault toilets. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring, grate and food storage locker.
Our favorite Big Springs campsites are: 6, 22 and 25.
The campground is at 7,300 feet in elevation and the area offers many outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, hunting, OHV riding, biking and climbing. Winter recreation also include cross-country skiing.
Glass Creek campground is also nearby.
