Coyote Hills Regional Park Campground California
Coyote Hills Regional Park Overview
Coyote Hills Regional Park is a busy, but also spacious park along the eastern shore of the San Francisco Bay. The park is made up of more than 1,200 acres of marshland and rolling grassland covered hills. Dairy Glen is the name of the campground here. The Dairy Glen Campground is a 50 person, large-group site. This site also requires a minimum of 17 people. Only primitive, tent camping is possible at this site. It can accommodate up to 10 vehicles. However, you must park at the Quarry Staging Area. It is about a quarter mile away from the campground so you must hike in to the site. Partial shade is available under the shade structures for you and your pets. It is also fully ADA accessible. The park and campground are open year-round.
Amenities at the campground include picnic tables, drinking water, fire pits, BBQs, a hand-washing station, as well as vault toilets. In the park, a new paved 100-car lot with shade, flush toilets, landscaping, EV charging, bus parking, and picnic tables will be opening in the Fall of 2025. The closest RV dump station is at Dumbarton Quarry Campground on the Bay (2mi south). The next closest options are Garden City RV Park (20mi southeast) and Alameda County Fairgrounds RV Park (20mi northeast).
