Frenchman Campground Plumas National Forest California
Frenchman Overview

Frenchman campground has 37 single-family campsites along the shores of Frenchman Lake in the Plumas National Forest. The sites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. A few of the campsites are a bit cramped with some being small and not very level, but there are others that are larger with privacy. There are 3 pull-through sites (15, 27 and 30), and sites 23 and 24 are shared parking. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. There are no hookups. Some campsites are first-come, first-serve.
The campground is open mid April through September and has drinking water, vault toilets and firewood for sale from the campground host. There is also a picnic/day use area close by.
