Paradise Cove Overview

Paradise Cove campground has 56 single-family campsites and is located on the southern shore of Lake Isabella in the Sequoia National Forest. All campsites have views of the lake and each can accommodate a tent, trailer or RV. Each campsite also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grate.  The parking spurs are about 40 feet in length.

All sites are reservable mid June to late December and first-come first-served other times of the year. Reserved sites are not site specific. Once you book a reservation, a site at this campground will be reserved for you. The specific site may either be assigned upon arrival by staff, or you can choose your own site if one is not assigned to you.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). There’s also a day-use/picnic area, sanitation dump station, boat ramp and a fish cleaning station. Cell service is good in the area.

Paradise Cove – Area Recreation

Lake Isabella offers a variety of water recreation including boating, fishing, swimming, jet skiing, water skiing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking. The are also has some nice hiking, mountain biking and wildlife viewing. Keep in mind that it will get very hot out here in the summer and the campground has limited shade.

Other campgrounds around Lake Isabella include Camp 9, Pioneer Point, Hungry Gulch, Boulder Gulch and Tillie Creek. Lake Isabella / Kern River KOA is also in the area.
