Pismo State Beach Oceano Overview
Pismo State Beach Oceano Campground has 82 single-family campsites beyond the dunes and adjacent to a fresh-water lagoon popular for bird watching. Campsites 1-42 have water and electric hookups. The parking spur length for each campsite has a maximum length of 36 feet. Group camping is also available.
The campground has flush toilets, showers (tokens), drinking water and an RV dump station. The campground roads and parking spurs are paved. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground.
The campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. There are also many large trees providing shade to most campsites.
North Beach Campground is another option at Pismo State Beach. You might also like Lopez Lake Recreation Area (inland).
Pismo State Beach Oceano – Area Recreation
Pismo State Beach is a beautiful area to visit and explore on California’s coast. Outdoor recreational activities include OHVing, hiking, biking, swimming, surf fishing, beach combing, and digging for the famous Pismo clam. Wildlife viewing is also popular and the area has the largest over-wintering colony of monarch butterflies in the U.S. You can also drive your car and off-road vehicle onto the beach and dunes at Pismo State Beach.

Arrived at our campsite (Pismo State Beach-Oceano Campground), unfortunately too late (20:15) … Nobody was at the reception and our name.
You could have parked and check in next morning, they usually leave names on the check in kiosk
Question: Does anyone know if there are electrical outlets in the bathrooms? Or a camping sink outside the bathrooms?

We believe there are not any electric outlets at Pismo State Beach Oceano campground, but perhaps someone else can confirm. You can also try calling the park and asking: 805-473-7220.
Will a 40 ft. motorhome fit in any of these sites?

All Pismo State Beach campsites have a parking spur / maximum RV length of 36 feet. So sorry, your 40 foot motorhome will not fit in any of the sites.
