Roxie Peconom Overview
Roxie Peconom Campground has 10 tent-only campsites set among towering pines next to Roxie Peconom Creek and near Willard Creek. All sites are first-come, first-served and are about 50 to 300 feet from the parking area. You can also camp for free (up to 14 days).
The well-maintained campground is also the home of Lassen County’s oldest existing Native American Culture. A day use area features a ceremonial circle used for the Mountain Maidu Spring Rite – The Bear Dance.
The campsites are well spaced and have nice shade. Some have tables and most have fire rings. Amenities include Potable (drinking) water from a hand pump, vault toilets and trash receptacles are provided.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, fishing, mountain biking, hunting, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Old Fredonyer. There are also many campgrounds over by Eagle Lake.
