Scotts Flat Lake Overview

Scotts Flat Lake Campground (Gate 2) has 77 campsites and is one of two campgrounds next to beautiful Scotts Flat Lake. Deer Creek (Gate 1) is the other campground has has 95 campsites

The campground is early March to late October. Online reservations for camping generally opens on January 2 of each year. Reservations are highly recommended.

Single-family tent, trailer/RV sites are available and some are waterfront.  Double-family sites (up to 16 people) and group campsites (from 24 to 100 people) are also available.  Hookups are not available but each site has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. There area also several tent-only campsites. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am (no generator use during those times).

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, a dump station and trash collection. There’s also a camp store, marina, fish cleaning station and a boat ramp and trailer lot in the Gate 2 camping area.  The marina has boat rentals.

Scotts Flat Lake Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

The 2-mile long lake is popular for boating, sailing, paddle-boarding, kayaking, water sports, swimming and fishing. Other activities in the area include mountain biking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
