Stillwater Cove Regional Park Overview

Stillwater Cove Regional Park has 23 campsites less than 500 feet from a beautiful crescent beach on California’s Sonoma Coast. There are 21 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs (up to 31 feet), and two hike/bike campsites. The only campsites that may have slight, small, sneak peaks of the water (through tree branches) are 1, 2 and 3.

Campsites 3 to 5 and 8 to 10 have electric hookups. Sites 20 to 23 are tent only. All of the sites (except hike/bike) also have a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include flush toilets, coin-operated showers, trash collection and a dump station. Campground well water must be boiled before consuming. The hike and bike sites also have a food storage locker.

Stillwater Cove Regional Park – Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking through redwoods and along ocean bluffs, tide-pooling, surf fishing, scuba diving/snorkeling (bring your wet suits), kayaking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The historic Fort Ross Schoolhouse is also located in the park’s interior.
