Tapo Canyon Park Overview

Tapo Canyon Regional Park Dump Station

Tapo Canyon Park has 16 full hookup sites and is located in the foothills and canyons of the Santa Susana Mountains just north of Simi Valley.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a paved pad, table, fire ring and grill. Each site can have up to 6 people and 2 vehicles.

Campground/park amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, a dump station and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is good in the area. Quiet hours are from 9pm to 7am (no generator use). A picnic / day-use area is also available.

Faria Beach Park, Hobson Beach Park, Kenny Grove Park and Steckel Park are other Ventura County Park/Campgrounds you may like.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, horseshoes, picnicking, volleyball and wildlife viewing.
