East Elk Creek Group Overview

East Elk Creek Group Campground has 1 campsite that can accommodate up to 50 people and 25 vehicles. It is located along the creek in a pretty canyon next to Blue Mesa Reservoir.

Amenities include a group pavilion (shaded), campsite tables, BBQ grills, food storage lockers, vault toilets and trash collection. Water is not available. Cell service is good in the area.

Elk Creek Campground is also nearby and has 155 single-family campsites.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, paddle-boarding, water sports, swimming, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, stargazing and picnicking. Wildlife viewing can also be good in the area.
