Granite Campground Colorado

Granite Overview

Granite 005

Granite campground has 8 single-family campsites along the shore of Fish Creek Reservoir in the Steamboat Springs area. There are 4 “walk-to’ sites (tent only) and 4 drive-up sites. High-clearance vehicles are recommended to access the campground.

The campground is first-come, first-serve. Amenities include a vault toilet and trash service. Campsites also have a table, fire ring and grate.

Granite – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, boating (non motorized), canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, OHVing, and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice here.

Other campgrounds in the area include Dry Lake, Hidden Lakes, and Summit Lake.
