Highline Lake State Park (Bookcliff) Campground is open year-round and offers 36 campsites for tents, trailers or RVs set on a grassy/lawn area (although trailers/RVs are not allowed on the grass). There are also 3 walk-in tent campsites (10, 11 and 12). The campstes are fairly large and spread out – providing some nice privacy between your neighbors. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and bbq. The area is shaded by large trees and is a short jaunt to the lake. The campground has drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers sanitation dump station and a delightful laundry. There are no electrical hook-ups at the campground.

Highline Lake State Park has a variety of family-fun outdoor activities including boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, birding and other wildlife viewing.

We visited in 2012: so a while back but it was an oasis with good space in between sites. The kids played in the water. We had a very good tome over there with a 26’ motorhome.
    Best regards
