North Fork (CO) Overview

North Fork Campground has 28 nicely-spaced campsites set in an aspen grove and just across the road from the North Fork of the White River.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a gravel parking spur (most are level), table, food storage lockers (bear boxes), fire ring and grill.  The high-elevation campground is generally open mid May to late October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell servicer is poor in the area.

North Fork Campground – Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, OHV trail riding, mountain biking, hiking, picnicking, hunting, horseback riding and wildlife viewing.  Whitewater kayaking and rafting (small craft) is also popular on some sections of the White River.
