Riverside (Co) Campground PSICC Colorado

Riverside (Co) Overview

Riverside Campground has 20 spacious campsites (11 are walk-to sites) and is located next to the South Platte River and about 2 miles southwest of Lake George. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 30 feet). Up to 2 vehicles and 8 people allowed per site.

The campground is generally open mid May to early October (weather permitting). Amenities includes vault toilets and trash collection. Water is not available so please bring your own. Cell service is also not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Cove, Blue Mountain, Spillway and Springer Gulch.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, fly fishing, rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.  The Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is also nearby and has one of the richest and most diverse fossil deposits in the world.
