Teal Lake Group Campsite Overview

Teal Lake Group campsite has 1 reservable group campsite overlooking the beautiful 50-acre lake in Routt National Forest. The group site can have up to 30 people and 7 vehicles (up to 30 feet each). There are also 17 single-family campsites available. The single-family campsites can have up to 2 vehicles and 10 people.

The group site is seasonal and usually open early June to mid September.  Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). There’s also a boat ramp nearby. Cell service is fair in the area. The group site can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. It also has tables, two fire rings/grates.

Teal Lake Group Campsite – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating (electric and non-motorized), canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There’s also some nice OHV trails in the area.
