Macedonia Brook State Park Overview
Macedonia Brook State Park offers 51 single-family (rustic) campsites in a wooded, meadow or brook-side setting. The camping season begins in mid-April and ends September 30.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs, but several are tent only sites. Each site also has a parking area, table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). Firewood is also available for sale from the park manager. Cell service is not available in the area.
Macedonia Brook State Park – Area Recreation & Info
The park consists of 2,300 acres of woodlands, meadows, creeks and brooks. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There’s also historic and cultural sites throughout the park. The Blue Trail crosses Cobble Mountain and several other peaks, offering outstanding views of New York State’s Catskills and Taconic Mountains.

First time camping and it was such an amazing experience. Off grid camping but it does have some pit toilets, and water pumps but no phone access which made it more enjoyable. Definitely Bear country but beautiful location. I stayed in #38 has great area for kids to play.
