Curry Hammock State Park Overview

Curry Hammock State Park campground has 28 campsites (with water & electric) along the beach and is located between Key Largo and Key West. Campsites can accommodate tents trailers and RVs (up to 60 feet). Each campsite has water/electric hookups, parking pad, table, fire ring and grill. Most sites also have a sandy area for pitching a tent.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and dump station (with a water fill station). There’s also a beach, playground, canoe/kayak launch and picnic area. Two friendly campground hosts are also in sites #6 and #24. Kayak rentals are available in the day use / picnic area.  Cells service is good in the area.

Curry Hammock State Park – Area Recreation

The Park is home to large acres of mangrove swamp, dockland hammocks and seagrass beds. It is a great place to paddle board, kayak, snorkel, swim, fish, picnic or view the wildlife. Visitors can also enjoy a 1.5-mile nature trail and bicycling along the Florida Keys Overseas Heritage Trail. The beach also offers some nice sunbathing and beachcombing.

Other Florida State Parks located on the Florida Keys include John Pennekamp State Park, Long Key State Park and Bahia Honda State Park.
