Kelly Park is located next to the Rock Springs Run State Reserve and has 26 campsites and 2 group sites. Each of the single-family campsites have electric hookups and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring, grill and water access. Campsites #3 and #17 are double/buddy sites (two setups of water hookups, tables and fire rings, but only one electric hookup. There is no campsite #15.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a playground and mixed-use trails throughout the park.

The 255-acre Kelly Park was donated by Dr. Howard A. Kelly in 1927 for use as a public park, wildlife preserve and bird sanctuary. The main attraction is Rock Springs, a natural free-flowing spring that travels nine miles to the Wekiva River. The spring maintains an average flow of 26,000 gallons per minute with a constant 68 degree temperature.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes tubing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.  Paddling boarding is also popular.

      You can click on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button to check availability, pricing and make reservations at Kelly Park – Rock Springs Campground. This close to the July 4th weekend will probably be sold out though.

  2. Can you access Rock Springs for swimming and tubing from the campgrounds?
