Manatee Springs State park Campground has 80 campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers and RV’s(up to 40 feet). The campground is broken up into three loop areas. All of the campsites have electric and water hookups, as well as a campsite table, fire ring and grill. All Even numbered campsites(14-34) are in the Magnolia camping area (1), which is for tent camping only. Group camping, canoe and kayak camping sites are also available. At the campground visitors have access to drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station.

In addition to camping, visitors enjoy a wide range of out door recreational activities at Manatee Springs State Park. Nearby the park is the river and warm springs which is a great place to snorkel, scuba dive or swim. Canoeing and kayaking are also popular activities (with campsite available) through hardwood wetlands to the Suwannee River. Visitors can rent canoes and kayaks May through September. There’s also a picnic area and playground at the park. Other outdoor activities include hiking, biking, boating, fishing and wildlife viewing.

Finally, Manatee Springs State Park is open year round to visitors and campers.

Out of the way, a lot of locals. Easy access to river. Overall a nice family park. Been here several times, Someone always comes home with a tick. lol

  3. Kathy Shouse says:

This is our favorite state park. We camp here several times a year. The deer come right up to our RV looking for food. So friendly. We’ve seen as many as 15 at a time. The bathrooms, although old, are kept nice and clean. They rent out canoes and kayaks at the concession stand. BBQ chicken, pork and ribs are awesome at the concession stand also.
