Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park Campground has 45 single family (mixed-used) campsites with electricity, water, picnic tables and fire rings. Large oak trees provide nice shade to all sites. There are also 5 cabins are also available for rent. Two primitive group camping areas are also available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. The park also has an amphitheater, gift shop, museum, laundry, picnic area, and ranger station. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host.

Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park – Area Recreation

The Stephen Foster Museum and Carillon Tower features exhibits and dioramas from Stephen Fosters songs as well as a display of antique pianos. The Carillon Tower is also home to the worlds largest tubular bell instrument, constructed and installed in 1957. The tower rings out Fosters tunes in scheduled concerts throughout the day.

Other outdoor activities include hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, visiting the historic sites, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

You may also like Suwanee River State Park (27 miles west) or Ocean Pond (27 miles east) campground.
