Cozy Cove Overview

Cozy Cove Campground has 16 spacious campsites and is on the southeast shore of scenic Deadwood Reservoir in western Idaho. The campground offers waterfront sites and most have good shade from a mixed-growth pine forest.

The campground is generally open mid June to late September. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a gravel parking spur (ranging in size from 25 to 100 feet), table, fire ring and grill. Cell service is not available. A boat ramp is also available next to the campground.

Cozy Cove Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Because of its remote location, Deadwood Reservoir is quiet and unpopulated, making for great fishing for Chinook and Kokanee salmon, as well as rainbow and cutthroat trout.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, water sports, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, OHV trail riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also good.

Other campgrounds next to Deadwood Reservoir include Howers, Barneys and River Side. You might also like Silver Creek, Park Creek or Pine Flats campgrounds.
