Dent Acres Overview

Dent Acres Campground has 50 spacious full hookup campsites located next to beautiful Dworshak Reservoir in northern Idaho’s spectacular Clearwater Valley. There are 49 pull-through sites and one back-in site.

The popular BLM campground is generally open mid April to mid September. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers and trash collection. There’s also a boat ramp, boat dock, boat trailer lot, fish cleaning stations, a playground and picnic area. Cell service/coverage is fair in the area. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp hosts.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 35 feet). There are 49 pull-through sites and one back-in site. Each site also has water, sewage and 50/30 amp electricity hookups, as well as a table, fire ring and grill.

Dent Acres Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Dworshak Reservoir is surrounded by steep forested, mountainous country. Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming, water sports, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds and parks in the general area include Pink House Recreation Site, Elk Creek Campground, Glade Creek Campground, Canyon Creek Campground and Dworshak State Park.
