Henrys Lake State Park Campground has 96 single-family campsites and 3 cabins. It is located on the 6000-acre lake’s shoreline and just 15 miles from Yellowstone National Park.

Campsite can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 75 sites with water & electric hookups (30 amp) and 8 full hookup sites (50 amp). Full hookup sites are 53, and 79 to 83. Ten hike & bike campsites are also available. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers and trash collection. There is also a boat ramp/launch, fish cleaning stations, picnic areas and dump station. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host. Kayaks are also available to rent down by the boat ramp.

Check in time is 2pm and checkout is 1pm. Quiet time is from 10pm to 7am. A WiFi hotspot is also available near the Adam’s Loop Bath House and near the Caddis Loop Bath House. Cell service is good in the area.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, sailing,  paddle-boarding, sailing, water skiing, swimming, biking, hiking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Visitors can also enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.

Other campgrounds in the area include Buffalo and Riverside.
