Riverside Campground has 57 single-family campsites and is located along the banks of Henry’s Fork of the Snake River at an elevation of 6,200 feet. Lodgepole pines provide partial shade to some campsites. The campground also has one group site.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (35 to 40 feet). Each campsite also has a table, grill and fire ring.  Some sites also have a raised BBQ pedestal. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell coverage is poor in the area.

Riverside – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes canoeing, kayaking, rafting, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, ATVing and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice here and the summer wildflowers are spectacular.

You may also be interested in Buffalo Campground up by Island Park. Harriman State Park is also in the area.

    A21 is the best and most difficult to reserve campsite. Right on the river and private. This is a large wooded campground, near Island Park and West Yellowstone. On the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River. Blue ribbon fly fishing. Typical NF campground with pit toilets and central water taps. Host on site during the summer.

      I am curious as to way campsite A008 is not featured in any of the images. Would love to see what it looks like.

        Not sure why we didn’t get a photo of campsite A8. Sometimes the occupant doesn’t want their picture (rig, etc.) taken and that may have been the case.
