Wolf Creek State Park (IL) Overview

Wolf Creek State Park has 304 Class A campsites and 78 Class C campsites located in a wooded area next to Lake Shelbyville.  There are 140 campsites that can be reserved for arrivals starting May 1 through October 31, otherwise campsites are first-come, first-serve. There’s also a cabin, group and equestrian camping available.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, laundry facilities, trash collection (dumpsters) and an RV dump station. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host.

Wolf Creek State Park – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Rental boats are also available at several of the private marinas on the lake.
