Clifty Falls State Park Overview

Clifty Falls State Park has 169 campsites (63 with electric hookups) and is located near Madison with entrances on state roads 56 and 62.

The campground is open year round. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.  There are also 17 youth tent sites available. The Clifty Inn also offers lodging and dining.

Campground amenities include water, flush toilets, showers, laundry, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a nature center, playground, swimming pool, restaurant and conference facilities. Firewood is also available to purchase at the park. Cell service is fair in the area.

Clifty Falls State Park – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes biking, hiking, swimming (swimming pool), picnicking and wildlife viewing.

In historic Madison, you can also tour the Lanier State Historic Site, the former mansion of frontier banker James F.D. Lanier.
