Canning Creek Cove Overview

Canning Creek Cove campground has 43 campsites and is located on the 3,310-acre Council Grove Lake in the green expanses of eastern Kansas. Council Grove Lake sits in the rolling, grassy prairie of east Kansas, known as the Flint Hills.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has electric hookups, a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host.
Canning Creek Cove – Area Recreation
Outdoor recreation activities include boating, fishing, water sports, hiking, biking, hunting, and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice here.
