Grape Island Campground (Massachusetts)

Grape Island Overview

Grape Island 007

Grape Island campground is, believe it or not, located on an island 10 miles from Boston in Boston Harbor. The island includes about 50 acres at high tide (doubling to 100 acres at low tide) of trees, wild berries, birds and natural beauty. It’s a great place to get away and camp, picnic, hike, fish, kayak and explore nature. There are 10 small tent campsites on the island. Each site has a picnic table. Campers are required to bring one gallon of water per person per day. You can access the island by private boat or ferry.  Campers are required to pack in and pack out all gear and trash.
