Nickerson State Park Overview

Nickerson State Park has over 400 campsites and is located in a wooded area of Cape Cod.  Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. No hookups. Yurt camping is also available.

Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also an amphitheater, boat ramp, playground and picnic areas. Pets are okay in the campground, but not at the beach.

Area Recreation & Activities

The Park offers 8 freshwater ponds that are stocked year-round with trout. Other activities include hiking, biking, boating (maximum 10hp engine), canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, swimming, picnicking and wildlife viewing. An 8-mile bike path connects with the 22-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail. Winter activities include cross-country skiing.

Wellfleet Hollow State Campground (tent only) is also nearby.
