Pulltite Campground Ozark National Scenic Riverways Missouri

Pulltite Overview

Pulltite Campground has 58 spacious campsites and is located along the beautiful Current River on the Ozarks National Scenic Riverways. There are 55 single-family campsites and 3 group sites (up to 45 people and 15 vehicles).

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (30 to 60 feet). Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot-water showers and trash collection. Flush toilets and showers are open Apr 15 – Oct 15. There is also a camp store (ice, firewood, snacks, supplies, etc.), and amphitheater and a camp host.  Canoe / kayak rentals area available at the visitor center. There is no cell service in the area.

Other Ozark National Scenic Riverways campgrounds include: Alley Spring, Akers, Big Spring, Round Spring and Two Rivers. You might also Timbuktu Campground in Echo Bluff State Park.

Pulltite Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, hunting and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also great in the area.

The historic Pulltite Cabin is across the river from the campground. The only way to see the cabin is by boat or by wading across the river. The cabin is next to scenic Pulltite Spring, for which the campground is named.

Known for its caves, springs, sinkholes and losing streams, the Ozark National Scenic Riverways has over 300 identified caves within its boundaries. They range in size from a rock overhang to almost seven miles of identified passages.
