Itch-Kep-Pe Park Campground has 42 (free) campsites and is located along the Yellowstone River in Columbus, MT. All sites at the city park are first come first served and are free to use (up to 7 days). Donations are encouraged to help maintain the park.

The rustic campground has an upper and lower loop. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Tall trees provide shade to some campsites.

Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water, restrooms and trash collection. Cell service is good in the area. There’s also a boat ramp near the campground’s lower loop.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking and picnicking. Stillwater Golf Course is also next to the park.
