El Morro National Monument Campground New Mexico

El Morro National Monument Overview

El Morro National Monument Campground has 9 first-come, first-serve campsites for tents, trailers and RVs up to 27 feet.

The campground is open year round. Amenities include drinking water (spigots) and vault toilets. Each campsite also has a tent pad, table, fire ring and grate.  The water is turned off during the winter. A group picnic site is also available. Campsites can have up to 2 vehicles and 8 people per site.

You may also like Joe Skeen Campground. This BLM campground is within El Malpais National Conservation Area near Grants, NM.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes visiting the historic sites of the Ancestral Puebloans, hiking, mountain biking, stargazing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
