Meadow Valley Overview
Meadow Valley Campground is nestled in a scenic campground at the south end of the Mt. Wilson volcanic caldera and near Eagle Valley Reservoir. Campsites are first-come, first-serve and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. All camp roads and parking areas are dirt.
The upper campground (in the canyon) has about 4 campsites (primitive) and the lower campground (on the east side of the road) offers dispersed camping next to Meadow Valley Wash. Vault toilets are available in the upper campground and each site has a table and fire ring. The lower campground has no amenities. Drinking water is not available at either camping area.
Other campgrounds in the area include Spring Valley State Park and Echo Canyon State Park.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, ATV trail riding, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.
