Wild Horse Crossing Overview
Wild Horse Crossing Campground has 22 spacious campsites and is next to the Owyhee River in northern Nevada.
Campsites are first-come first-serve and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 35 feet). Camp roads and spurs are dirt. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include 2 vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is also not available.
Wild Horse State Recreation Area (Wild Horse Reservoir) has 2 campgrounds and is about 9 miles away. Big Bend Campground is also in the area (about 20 miles).
Area Recreation and Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes OHV trail riding, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.
