Lake Erie State Park Overview

Lake Erie State Park Campground has 97 campsites and is located along the southern shores of Lake Erie in the heart of western New York’s grape belt. Ten cabins are also available to rent. The 355 acre park offers breathtaking views from the high bluffs along the parks three-quarter mile long shoreline. It’s also ranked as America’s Top 100 family campgrounds.

The campground is generally open mid May to mid October. Amenities include water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station (with water fill). The park also offers playgrounds, volleyball courts, a baseball field, a basketball half-court, horseshoe pits and an 18-hole disc golf course. Cell service is good in the area.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 80 campsites with electric hookups. Each site also has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Parking spurs range in size from 18 to 47 feet long.

Cabins can accommodate up to 6 people. Each has electricity, water, bed/mattresses, stove/oven, refrigerator, toilet/sink, BBQ, a porch, fire pit and parking for 2 vehicles. Pets are okay. Bedding or linens are not provided.
