Graham Corral Horse Camp Overview

Graham Corral Horse Camp has 13 equestrian-only campsites on a beautiful ponderosa pine forest that is near the town of Sisters (OR) in the Deschutes National Forest.

The campground is open late April to early May. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Each campsite also has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Horse corrals are also available throughout the campground. Cell service is good. Livestock water is no longer available and campers will need to bring their own supply of drinking water. In addition, horse campers must use certified weed-seed-free hay.

Graham Corral Horse Camp campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Campsites 4, 5, 7, and 8 can have up to 12 guests and 2 vehicles. They also have 4 corrals. All the other sites can have up to 6 guests / 1 vehicle and share one large corral. Hookups are not available. Some close by RV dump stations include Redmond Public Works RV Dump (29mi east), Expo Center RV Park (29mi east), Tumalo State Park (23mi southeast), and Camp Sherman RV Park & Motel (13mi north).

The close proximity to the town of Sisters offers many additional amenities and attractions.

Graham Corral Horse Camp – Area Recreation & Activities

The Deschutes National Forest encompasses nearly 1.6 million acres in Central Oregon. It stretches along the eastern slopes of the Cascade Range. It boasts dramatic volcanic landscapes, alpine lakes, and old-growth pine forests. Also, it serves as a premier, year-round destination for outdoor recreation.

Some popular activities to do here and in the surrounding area are hiking, horseback riding, as well as wildlife viewing. Also, Graham Corral Horse Camp sits right next to Black Butte Ranch. Black Butte Ranch is a private resort and community. The resort’s residential areas, vacation homes, and swimming pools are private property. However, the public is welcome to access its golf courses, dining establishments, and equestrian services.
