Oxbow Regional Park Overview

Oxbow Regional Park campground is located right along Sandy River Gorge and has 75 single-family campsites for tents, trailers and RVs. Group camping is also available. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, lantern pole and BBQ grill. The campground has a drinking water and modern restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers radiant floor heating. There are no hookups or dump station available. The park does have an amphitheater, boat launch ramp and playground. Firewood is available for sale at the campground. Cell service is good.
Oxbow Regional Park is approximately 30 minutes from Portland and is open year-round. The park and campground offer easy access to the river. Outdoor activities include boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. There are also some nice hiking and biking trails here through Oxbow’s old-growth forests.
Ainsworth State Park is also in the area. It’s about 34 miles away and located on the Columbia River.

Says here “Pets OK” but on the website (https://www.oregonmetro.gov/parks/oxbow-regional-park/camping-oxbow) it says “No pets” under
“Policies and guidelines” (https://www.oregonmetro.gov/parks/pets-policy)
