Simax Group Camp Overview

Simax Group Camp has 4 group sites and is in a forested area at the northeast end of beautiful Crescent Lake.  It’s also near Simax Beach.

The group campground is generally open mid May to late September. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilets and trash collection. Camp roads and spurs are paved. Cell service is poor in the area. A group picnic pavilion is also available to reserve and can accommodate up to 50 people.

Simax Group Camp – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, water skiing, sailing, windsurfing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Crescent Lake Campground is also nearby.
