William M Tugman State Park Overview

William M Tugman State Park campground is located on Eel Lake and has 94 campsites with electric/water hookups, as well as 16 yurts (8 are pet friendly). Most campsites have plenty of shade from large shore pines. Each campsite also has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.

The park/campground is open year round. Amenities include a nice day-use area and playground, potable (drinking) water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and an RV dump station. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground. Pets/dogs are allowed in the campground on a leash. Cell service is fair in the area.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing. In fact, you may just spot an osprey, crane, eagle, deer or other forest creatures as you hiking along the trails. The Oregon Dunes Recreation area is also about a mile away.

Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park is another option you may like. It is about 28 miles north on Highway 101.
