East Branch Campground Pennsylvania

East Branch Overview

East Branch Campground has 31 campsites and is located near the dam of the East Branch Clarion River Lake in northwestern Pennsylvania. There are 26 sites with electric hookups. Four cabins are also available to rent.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. The campground is generally open mid May to mid September. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a playground, picnic shelters and a boat ramp within 1/2 mile of the campground.

You may also like Twin Lakes Campground. Bendigo State Park is also in the area and has 3 campsites.

East Branch Campground – Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

East Branch is known for being a high-quality fishery. The predominate fish species at East Branch are small and large mouth bass, lake trout, musky, walleye, and a variety of panfish. The outflow area below the dam is known for its year-round cool to cold waters and is managed as a delayed harvest trout fishing area. The outflow area is a popular destination for canoers and kayakers alike.
