Givhans Ferry State Park Overview

Givhans Ferry State Park has 31 campsites and is located is on the banks of the Editor River with access to the famous Edisto River canoe & kayak trail. The trail actually begins at Colleton State Park.

The 31 campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Twenty five (25) campsites have water & electric hookups. There are 9 tent-only campsites. Cabins are also available for rent. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. The park also has a playground, wifi access, a gift/camp store, volleyball courts, picnic areas and hiking trails.

Givhans Ferry State Park – Area Recreation

Obviously canoeing and kayaking are pretty popular here, but you can also fish, swim, hiking, bike, geocache, play some volleyball, or throw a horseshoe. Picnicking and wildlife viewing are also pretty nice here.

Colleton State Park campground is just 20 miles to the west via Highway 61. It has 25 campsites (with hookups).
