Lee State Park Overview

Lee State Park is located along the Lynches River and has 25 single-family campsites and 23 equestrian campsites. All campsites have at least water & electric hookups. Full hookup campsites include 15, 17, 19, 21, 23 and 25, as well as equestrian sites 44-48. Group camping is also available.

The park’s 2,839 acres include mostly hardwood forest wetlands. The river is a favorite among kayak and canoe enthusiasts, although it was a bit muddy when we visited.

The campground is open year round. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, restrooms with AC and flush toilets, hot-water showers ($), trash collection (dumpsters) and a dump station. There is also a pretty fishing pond, picnic areas and playground. Wifi is not available but there are a few Rivian EV charging stations over by the ranger station.  Cell service is fair in the area.

Campsite can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (30-38 feet). Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grate.

Outdoor recreation includes kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
