Oconee Point Overview

Oconee Point Campground has 70 campsites and is located on the western shore of beautiful Hartwell Lake in South Carolina. All sites have water and electric hookups, and many are waterfront.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a gravel parking spur (ranging in size from 20 to 40 feet), electric/water hookups, table, lantern post, fire ring and grill.

The campground is generally open the first of May through October. Amenities include water, restrooms with flush toilets and showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp, boat trailer lot, courtesy dock, 2 playgrounds, a swim beach and picnic area. Cell service is also good in the area.

Oconee Point – Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Coneross Park and Twin Lakes.
