Meriwether Lewis Overview
Meriwether Lewis campground has 32 campsites (mostly good for tent camping) and is located at Milepost 395.9 along the Natchez Trace Parkway.
The campground is first-come, first serve and campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. There are no hookups, but each site has a table, fire ring dumpsters.

Outdoor recreation in the general area includes hiking, biking, fishing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There are also several historic sites in the area you can visit.

I Love this campsite! YET 8 years ago homeless started setting up tents and yes, they went through my tent while I was on home. I also caught them siphoning gas from hikers cars. You most likely won’t get a good nights rest.
