Juniper Point Overview

Juniper Point Campground has 44 campsites (with water & electric hookups) and is located next to beautiful Lake Texoma, in the Cross Timbers region of Texas. Two loops are open for camping – the East side loop (‘C’ sites) and the West side loop (‘D’ sites)

The campground is generally open March 1 to November 30. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault and flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection, 2 dump stations, 2 boat ramps and 2 docks.  A sandy beach is also close by, and there are stores and a marina within a mile of the campground. Cell service is good in the area.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 50 feet). Each site also has a parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.

Juniper Point – Area Recreation & Activities

Lake Texoma is known as the ‘Playground of the Southwest” and also the ‘Striper Capital of the World” with excellent fishing for striped bass and other popular species.  Other activities include boating, kayaking, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other Lake Texoma campgrounds in the area include Johnson Creek, Platter Flats and Burns Run East.
